Hi!

Exams are over.. thank god..
it was torture, but the torture isnt over. first I have to get my grades. I just hope I passed.

over to more exciting stuff :D
the holiday is here, and I am at home with my family, which is so gooood, but all the same, I always get alergic when I am here.
probably because of the cat... :s

anyway, that wasnt what I was going to write about.
I have started writing for a new website : www.levlogisk.com
it is a norwegian page, so not much use for my american/english LJ-friends, but anyway.
it focuses on the enivronment, and how to live life thinking about mother earth :)

right now I am writing an article about buying used furnitures. It isnt completely finished yet, but soon.

Life is a Rollercoaster

NO. I am not reffering to Ronan Keatings hit, I am reffering to my day :)

first, it went down, since I was at the dentist. it was a little painful, but not as painful as the other times

then it went up, as I remembered this would be my last appointment for a loong while :)

then it went up again!! wow! I went to cut my hair! and I am very very pleased!! :D

then it went very very low. I got a mail from my teacher saying I have failed one of my classes because of low attendance, and would not get to take my exam. I would have to take the semester one more time, and write my mainpaper one more time, and then attend all the boooooring meetings. that destroyed my focus for everything, including reading for my two other exams.

then it went down again, as I decided that the best way to drown my sorrows would have to be in alcohol. hehe.
but I soon realised I had used all my money on the dentist!!!! FOR F*** sake!!

so what to do? I realised I couldnt have had too low attendance, since I only remembered two times I hadnt been there. so I checked it out with my notes and my amazing memory. found I was right, called my teacher and told him everything I remember from last class, who was speaking, what he had written on the board, what some student had nagged him about in recession, and he said: oh, so you were there?
he fixed it! there probably was my fault for signing the wrong place or some biznik. but whatever! I can still make my exam! hopefully I wont fail that one! haha, that would be ironic, Alanis.

usually,I am quite pleased with my dinners, but today I am exstatic!!
This was just too good to not share, so that's what I will do :)

Chicken salad with a twist

1. Cut the chickenfilet into small pieces,
then cut green squash and paprika into similaar pieces.

2. marinate everything with spices of your choosing.
I used, garlic, BBQ spices and paprika powder mixed in oil.

3. put it in the pan, and fry till it is done, I will not explain more thourough than that.

4. make the rest of the salad cold. I used more paprika, a whole avocado, salad and onions.

5. mix it with loove :D

Just seen a program about health, and what all those guilty pleasures do to ones biological age.
This dude at 25 had the liver of a 35 yr old, the lungs of a 41 yr old, and a brain functioning as good as an 65 yr old. wow.
He was shocked I tell you. Even though he smoked 300 cigarettes a week and drank alcohol almost every day and never exercised.
He turned it around as well. cut down the cigarettes to under a third in just 2 weeks, drank less and less often, and started exercising almost every day.
The improvement in just one week was tremendeous.

I started thinking about my own health, which is the goal for these kind of shows, and found out that the reason I may be sick right now, might not be because I didnt dress warmly enough or took my vitamins... hmmm. go figure. :)

So, the answer must be to stop smoking totally . I dont smoke often at all anymore, but the program showed that the nicotine level and the lungs doesnt heal completely if there isnt a full stop of smoking, and one should also keep the non-smoking thing up for 10 yrs before it would have healed to its fullest. Result: Im throwing my cigarettes away. no more party smoking. I really want to keep this up.

secondly, the drinking. luckily I dont have lots of money as a student, and the weekends could be more constructive. theres always work, homework, and other more positive things to do in leisure. Result: start drinking less, and not every weekend.

the hardest thing right now is work out.. this is why I dont like snow. Its hard to jog in, the temperature freezes my lungs, one is either packed with clothes and too warm, or dressed for a work out and freezing in the warming up..

on the show though, they played badminton, which they said was a high intensity work out. I may be willing to give that a try. :)
but the best way to get myself to do some serious lasting work out is with a work out buddy :)
I need one, so sign up if you are in..

btw. this wasnt a social post.. hehe. I just wanted to clear my thoughts, put them down on paper so I could read them when my will is down.

been a bit absent lately. havent really wanted to write anything.
Schools a bitch, with exams coming up. I am so nervous.
and I have been working quite a bit, so the late nights havent been much studying.
and as an effect to the late nights, with TOO much solitaire and family guy, I have dreamt about playing solitaire with the heads and voices of family guy characters. really. it is starting to get on my nerves. so I have decided to ban myself from playing and watchin. :)

Instead of doin what I was supposed to do, I have been watchin alot of films lately. especially last night. watched Prince Caspian, which was boring and bad, and then I watched 28 weeks later, which was great, but should have had someone the audience liked more. only person I really felt I liked, was officer doyle or whats-his-name.

when I was supposed to call it the night, I came over Bring it on Again, on televison. yeah, it sucked, but I love the moves. does anyone else get annoyed that we didnt get to see the finals? did they win? and if they did, then EVERYONE could be a cheerleader-master, coz they trained for what, two weeks? lol. amazingly stupid, but slighty entertaining, although I didnt laugh ONCE, I only smiled when Monica did her slang thing at the party. miss bomb diggity. please.

oh, shit. I have school in 20 minutes! gotta go

well, wow, u should so totally do.

its the most addicting show ever. it almost blows harry potter, and that is saying something for me...
i have once again fallen in love with a character and an actor Sid(mike bailey), before it was only Ron/rupert grint. still, I havent forgotten him either. no way ;)

and I am in love wih Cassie too. she is such a Luna character. but Cassie has some medical issues for her ways ;)
crazy, freaky, quiet, loud, smart, witty, charming, hot. shes got the package, along with Sid. he just needs to step it up sometimes.

anyway, Im probably going to go nimwit on posting about this now.,...

to sum it up : school, Skins, party, 3-4hours sleep, work, run for the tram, skins, find out my card was broken so i had no money, party, lending money, skins, 4 hours of sleep, work (YEAH on a sunday), watching skins, 6 hours of sleep :D

got an A on a paper btw. ws group work, but either way. loved it.
and got some great news from my sister. personal though :)
got her into skins as well :D hehe.
she is now in love with Sid as well.

Im quite scared right now.

There was an attack 200 meters from where I live two days ago.
it is scary.

a 36 yr old man from somalia attacked at random with a knife in the streets. he just flipped out and tried to attack everyone in his reach for 20 minutes. he stabbed a woman and two men. tried to stab an older man and a woman in the throath. its just lucky none of it was lifethreatening.

only 4 yrs ago, a somalian man killed a man on the tram, also right where I lived. with a knife.
both has mental problems, and the last one has been arrested for having tried to kill a man, and for several violent episodes. still, he is out again today. because he is so fucked up, they cant keep him. the man that killed another man on the tram, is now walking free. actually, he was released 19 months after the murder.

its sick. they should lock him up in a mental institution. I am actually scared going home at night. almost every weekend, walking home, I get these men trying to strike up a conversation, and some of them act wierd. one tried to pull my friend away. and right outside my window, ppl sell drugs, nobody does anything. the police has given up I think.

I just want to feel safe where I live, u know? :S

self-doubt

it is said that when something bad happens, the mind tries its best to forget it. even though, the event just becomes harder to forget, but blurred by the try.

still, we know what happened, but as time goes on, our struggles to forget becomes the struggle to remember correctly. because if we cannot remember, how can we be prepared to not do the same mistake, or to see that there was nothing to be done and that it wasnt our fault?

As we grow older, things like these reach the surface more seldom, but when they strike, they strike in a way that makes self-doubt come. it happened so long ago. ages. maybe I got it wrong? but it is worse, as we realize that we didnt get it wrong, and that the memory is just as though to bear this day, as it was the day before.

One day I may be lucky enough to remember; that it wasnt my fault, that it sadly did happen, but it is all the same over. for now...

buttfacemakani linked her fans to a parody, which seemed like a good thing to spend hours of a boring afternoon on, so I did! :D

I fell in love with Xlormp, the space alien, at once, and felt the urge to start a highly needed Facebook-group(go join!)

Im now living in Oslo. gives a wierd feeling really.
Ive been here before, ofcourse, but living here gives a completely different feeling of the city,a s expected really.

Yesterday I went out with a friend. We went to Indogo, but the place was packed so we didnt stay long.
As we wandered around a man asked us if we wanted any drugs... we walked on..

When I shopped breakfast a muslim african man stood leaning on a wall in the shop, listening to his boss and his son chatting. he jumped when I saw him. seemed like a little soap opera. =)

Now Ive been walking around centrum a good while, my feet hurt, but it was interesting. I had no problems finding my way really, but tried to locate stuff for later. bought me a flexi card for transport, so now Im only nervous for the meeting at school tomorrow. I feel kinda alone beginning at a BIG school where I know... noone. alas, I'll make it.

On my way back from Karl Johan ( had to catch the castle) a man asked me if I believed in Jesus. I said Yes. i didnt want to say no, as then he would start on me, but Im not really sure if my answer is blasphemic since I dont know what I believe. hehe. still, a good day so far: probably meet my friend Ingeborg later for a coffee, right now Im postponing making dinner. turkey and mash, almost the same as Ricky Gervais favourite... =)

Im moving...

Right now I am packing all my stuff. Its taking forever. and I havent even started on my clothes. shadklsd! I didnt even realize how many clothes I have. I dont wear half of it, but still can't make myself throw them away.

I am a little sad aswell. so many friends I will not see again for a loong time, and my lil sis. She will live alone with my parents now.
And that is okey guess, but she is used to three sisters, and now we will all live more than a 6 hours drive away.
I hope she will grow up and be independent without her sisters there to back her up, but I hope she doesnt grow too much. hehe. I still want her to be my lil sis when I come visit.

the shelves on my room looks so empty :(

but the rest is a mess. lol.

cant figure out how we are going to fit it into the truck.

I am also nervous about beginning on a new school, with so many people I dont know at all, in a city I have never lived in.
It is not such a big city, but there is still ALOT I dont know about it. like how to get to school in time and such.
And I still havent gotten any work.

My manager says he will miss me alot and that if I have troubles finding work, he will call his manager and force them to hire me. hehe. I hope that will happen, but all the same, it would be great to start on something new.

i justed watched the last episode of avatar.
I cant believe it.

it is.. over...

I dont want it to be over! I feel like I was just dumped by a guy, and didnt see it coming. although I kinda knew it was going to be over, I guess I didnt really think that it would be... woah desillusion much?

I dont think I will ever find another animeseries I like as much, but I am hoping (katara-mental . never loose hope ;) )

BUT I have to say...

It was the BEST ENDING EVER!!!!!
I dont want to spoil it, so I wont say anything that could deflate the climax, but wooooah the fighting! the fighting was made of epic and the music actually made me teary with emotions. yeah, lol. its an anime, I know.

Ep 17 was dissapointing though. reaaally. it didnt even have a story. it was just. blah. but all the same it made me remember all the episodes, and that was probably the thought behind it. still, it could easily been left out of the series.

Maybe I will start rewatching it. I dont know.
I just hope they will come to their senses and make another season. that would be soooo YAY!

this makes me think about harry potter. if this series, that I have only watched for a year, can make me so sad because it is over, how can I accept HP to be over?

When the 7th book was all read out, I felt at ease and happy, but all the same sad. but I still have the movies. I love them, and it is yet 2-3 yrs before I have to wake up and smell the closure.

well. I can put it out a while longer.... :)

he is hot!

I never pictured him to be hot. Maybe smoothlooking, or with some nice features, but not HOT!
It doesnt matter to have another hottie in the movie, but I think he is maybe too hot. :s

Hova has landed!

Im a little bit disappointed that I can't see my man, Jay-Z, when he is going to enter the stage at the Hove-festival this week.
It woulda been awsum, but oh well, I will see him this summer anywayz.

It is now a week and 4 days till I travel with Elise, Helga, Kristoffer and Malene to Belgium and the Rock Werchter festival.

There is going to be sooo many great artists!! and so much to do/drink! lol, Alco-Jude comes forward.

It feels good though, to have J in Norway. He should have been here before, and the next time he comes( hopefully soon) I MUST go see him.

btw, the weather here sucks. last night I had on three sweaters, one of them wool, two headbands, three pair of socks and a scarf.
Im sure it really wasnt that cold, but I couldnt get the cold feeling out of my body. Hope I aint sick. :s

btw 2, I found proof for my gymgrade to rise.
so now I most definately got 8 5's, 5 4's.

I AM going to get into the university, this I know for sure now. yay!
